I had a very nice looong weekend (Monday was bank holiday). Celebrating the end of the week I met up with some friends in the Pav (Pavilion Bar on campus) and had a "Druid and Ribena" (curious Irish drink consisting of cider and blackcurrant juice, maybe a bit sweet, but overall tasty). We had a laugh and some gossip and it all ended up with us me and Hanna getting invited to three dinners in the following days. We had a good few hours at the Pav, and when I got up, it was subsequently about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the world was spinning slightly. On the way back Hanna, me and Brian took a swing by Dunnes (supermarket) and had an improportionally good time. I'm never doing grocery shopping sober again! (joke haha, mum)

The evening was calm, as Fridays tend to be here. We just hung out and watched Borat (Very Niiice!) and ate ice cream. Not to bad of a way to spend an evening really.

Saturday morning I spent studying and catching up in Sociology. We are reading about gender which is really interesting (anyone surpriced?). 

In the afternoon me and Hanna made a little excursion to Dundrum (the BIG shoppingcenter just two luas stops away). We had a very important task before us: Getting Halloween costumes! I have been thinking and thinking about what to wear, anything from Indian to zombie really, but in Pennies (where else?) it finally occured to me. I was standing in the cue to pay and then I saw it; the perfect costume. A pair of guys briefs (kalsonger), blue with white stars. Two minutes later I found a red top and voila Superwoman!! I will show you pictures later (find them on Facebook!). Tomorrow's the day and I'm really excited. There are bout seven TCD Halloween parties to chose from. Quite tricky to have everyone go to the same one though.

In the evening I was invited to Nina (a Finish friends, yes the Scandinavians stick together like glue) and she made amazing spinnage pancakes. My appartement was empty since all the Irish go home over the weekend so I had some friends over for a couple of drinks. Then off to Whealand's! My old favourite and it was just as good as I remembered it. We danced like crazy people and my neck hurt terribly on Sunday from all the headbanging. Naomi and Fia joined up and they seemed to enjoy themselves equally.

Sunday held a sleep-in (needed) and then some hung-over hangout with friends in the morning. Conor was over from Germany this weekend so we met up in town for a catch-up and a chat. I thought it would be weirder than it was meeting up with him, we haven't seen eachother since Christmas after all, but it was really nice. 

Me and Hanna were invited to dinner at an English friend's place in the evening. His name is Hector (I just had to wright that) and we had chicken. Nice with a bit of meet to compliment my almost entirely vegetarian diet.

In the evening a couple of us went to the cinema and saw Stardust. I'd never heard of it but it was really good! Such a nice story, fairytalelike and with Robert de Niro as a pirate wearing a dress. What more can you ask for?

Forgetting Sunday times we missed the last luas and had to walk the whole way home which took over an hour, but we managed to have a rather nice time anyways. And there's no such thing as a bit of fresh air ain't that right?

Monday held more studying than I might have wished for but I got a fair bit done anyways. A quite boring day with nothing more excition than a visit to Tesco. In the evening we went to Pranishe's house for dinner and had a nice time with him and his rather random flatmates.

Now it's Tuesday and in a few minutes I'm off to soccerpractice. I can't wait! And then I'm off to dinner at Naomi and Fia's house. Quite nice prospects...
