Trinity News

I can't believe it hasn't been more than just over a week in Halls. It feels like I've been living here for years. Apparently I'm not the only one thinking in those lines. Talked to a guy in Halls on the Luas today and he had spent the weekend back home (Drougheda) with his parents. When we reached the gates of Halls he sighed "oh, so good to be home." Really, I said, so where were you this weekend? There are quite a few us us being in a state of confusion; simply because it's so easy to like it here.

I haven't done much this weekend. Sleeping (needed) and hanging out with friends mainly. Time flyes here! I can't really put my finger on what exactly I've been doing but I guess hanging out would be the best guess. Socializing. Oh, and I got some boring stuff sorted, changed phone company, and I got my computer sorted and configured it to the TCD network (that stuff takes so mutch time!). Also I met up with my old West Coast Coffee bud Sophia. She's studying phsycology in UCD. Another one who couldn't leave this darn darling island. There are a few of us. I'm a bit nerveuse Naomi and Fia's parents will curse me the day they realize that they just love it to mutch here to go home. I have a feeling that day will come...

Met Linda today. She's over in Ireland with school. I only had five minutes to say hello and get my computer which she was kind enough to bring over. We'll catch up later in the week when they're in Dublin. I'll take them drinking.. maybe (I'm only joking mum, I would never introduce an 17 year old to alcohol, God no!).

There's another Swedish girl living in Halls and she's really nice. Hanna. She's here four years aswell and I think we will stick together. She already feels like something rather stabil in a new and rocking uni world. People keep saying they met their life long mates in uni and I can't help looking at people and wonder if they'll be my closest friends in the future. There are some applicants for that; but so many friends I have yet to meet. I haven't even met my classmates (all 210 of them, gah!).

Tomorrow I have my first lectures. This is when it starts for real. Haven't had time to get school supplies yet. I'll figure that out tomorrow I guess.

Everything is so darn exciting. But still I have to say: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT... so far!!!!!!
